DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE
WORLD LATIN DANCE CUP

The Disciplinary Committee is the responsible for analyzing claims, complaints and acts based on situations that are not in the Regulations of the World Latin Dance Cup.

The general structure of the Committee is made up of the Jury Director as Chairman of the Committee -Susana Montero- with a casting vote, 5 members and a representative of the Board of Directors. To ensure the principle of voice and representation, the Disciplinary Committee will be composed of a representative from each continent. Board of Directors reserves the disciplinary power in regard to the suspension and exclusion of members.

The Disciplinary Panel is responsible for investigating and examining any complaint or claim made by any competitor to the Committee. Its role is also to monitor the professional practice of the Code of Ethics. In special cases, the chairman may decide alone.

When the Chairman of the Committee summons it, the Disciplinary Committee will evaluate the conflicts or faults committed, and if necessary, it will have the power to issue the sanctions required to resolve the situations presented. A signed record of each decision taken will be left.

The Disciplinary Committee has jurisdiction in all official World Latin Dance Cup (WLDC) qualifiers: the decisions made by the WLDC Jury Director, and the Disciplinary Committee are mandatory.

Those interested to be part of the qualified members of the Committee should meet the criteria and specific parameters for the position, must file the form and send all the material that proves their capability to have a place within it. Members will be elected by democratic vote during the WLDC 2019 for a period of one year and for a maximum of three consecutive periods.

The committee will meet once a year to discuss the issues that concern it.
