Greece Latin Dance Cup
Greece Latin Dance Cup is the official qualifier for the World Latin Dance Cup to represent your country in the WLDC 2025. This competition gathers the best dancers in each category of salsa and bachata in the country. The best dancers of this competition win the right to represent their country in the World WLDC 2025 in Medellin Colombia from 4 to 10 August 2025.
Thessaloniki – Greece
Thessaloniki is the second-largest city in Greece after Athens and one of the oldest cities in Europe. It is known as a city with a great nightlife even in winter, when most famous greek tourist destinations are closed. It is the capital of Macedonia, with a population of approximately 1,000,000 inhabitants, suited in the northerner part of country and it is an important economic, industrial, commercial center and a major transportation hub for the rest of south-eastern Europe.

PRINCIPAL CLUB THEATER has been one of the most active live venues in Thessaloniki since 2004. It is located in MYLOS area, at the west end of the center of Thessaloniki – 2 km. from the city center. The location is also close to Block33 that is the venue of the Sensualonica Dance Festival taking place for 21st to 23rd of February and hosting the Qualifiers on its final day.
The spacious stage of our venue is ready to welcome all contestants (solo dancers, groups or couples) to shine and compete for a lifetime opportunity to represent Greece on the global stage and a ticket to Medellin, Colombia, for the Semi-final and Final rounds of the WLDC.

Fees and registration
In order to compete in the qualifiers of WLDC in Greece, you need to purchase a Competitors Pass of 40 euros/competitor + the fee of the competition. If you already have a Full Pass, you do NOT need to purchase the Competitors Pass. You can purchase your Competitors Pass (or Full Pass if you want) by visiting the official website of the Greece LDC here: www.sensualonica.com .

Get to know the personalities who will be part of Geece Latin Dance Cup.
Edwin Rivera
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, NY, Edwin Rivera is one of the most influential figures in the current Latin dance and music scene. He is a dancer, DJ, and music producer, as well as the director of the MONSTER PRODUCTS Latin Initiative, "Monster: The Sound of Latin," where he collaborates closely with Noel Lee of Monster Products. Edwin also serves as the Artistic Director for some of the most renowned competitions worldwide and has been a producer for events such as the Los Angeles Salsa Festival and the World Latin Dance Cup for many years.
Erika Saucillo Rivera
Born in Los Angeles, Erika is a professional dancer and choreographer. Since the age of 5, she has been immersed in the world of dance, allowing her to gain extensive experience in various styles such as ballet, folkloric ballet, jazz, heels, contemporary, hip hop, salsa, bachata, afro, and Latin ballroom. Erika has been a member of the Quest Salchata Crew and has taken part in numerous international competitions, achieving first-place awards.
Anichi Perez
Anichi Perez is a true polymath—a gifted salsa dancer, knowledgeable Latin musician, and an expert in Afro-Cuban folklore. Grew up in Ecuador, Nicaragua and partly in Cuba, Anichi Perez early came into contact with the infectious rhythms of Latin America. At the age of 12 he first visited a ballet and salsa school, which was led by a Cuban. He discovered his talent and promoted him until Anichi at the age of 18 years moved to Germany with his family (his father is from Germany, and his mother from Ecuador). Here he not just met his dancing partner, Anne, but also a slightly different style of dancing. Through a lot of training, discipline, and numerous educational trips to Cuba, New York, Puerto Rico and Milan, Anne and Anichi worked their way up from the local heroes of Freiburg, to the European title in 2007, right up to world class with its recently Vice World Champion title in Miami 2009th His expertise, his natural charisma and his unconditional love for salsa, let Anichi become a very popular salsa teacher.Categories

GREECE LATIN DANCE CUP
Awards winners and competitors with the following prizes and benefits.
- All first place winners in all categories will be entitled to a full pass to the WLDC valued at 234 USD.
- All first place winners in all categories will win a position in the category in which they already competed at no cost. (If competitors….)
- All first place winners will have direct entry into the WLDC Semi-Final.
- All second and third place winners in this competition will have a 100 USD voucher to be used towards the WLDC Full Pass.
- All second and third place finishers will go directly to the elimination phase during the WLDC.
- All competitors who participated in this competition will have a $40.00 voucher to be used as part of the full pass payment for the WLDC.
